(Just so you know, I stinking hate write my own bio. I hated it when I worked writing and I super hate it now. I hope this is ok.)

Megan Potter is a Spiritual and Intuitive Coach and Speaker and strives to be a general, all around inspirer (is that a word?) of people - aka a Muse. And that doesn't even include all her normal girl jobs! Her blog at Limitless Living is meant to inspire all the normal, everyday women, just like her, to believe that they are really Gorgeous, Brave women who can change the world and live a life with no limits. She's all about Spirit and Passion and Living Your Purpose with Creativity and Joy; even if she is learning as she goes.

My goal is to post three time a week (one of which is a Meme I've been running) so my goal would be six posts plus the ones I have to blog in the interim.

Pre-Writing Challenge Page: Hold on. It's comin'.

Bio: Amanda Farough is a web rock-star, currently peddling her wares in web design and development; in a previous incarnation, she was a bad-ass software developer. Her blog is a smattering of various topics: design, development, literary debauchery, freelancing, tasty creative non-fiction about her life, love letters, and various other bits and bobs of geekery. On her off hours, she designs (and plays) video games, writes novels that may never be published, and dances in the rain.

How many posts you normally publish in 2 weeks (your goal for the challenge): I'm completely erratic in my posting. This should force me to be a bit more disciplined. Most weeks, I'm anywhere from 1-3 times a week. I'll shoot for 3 times a week during this challenge.

My goal: 6 posts.

Rock on. Let's get this party started.

Thank you guys for getting these up so quickly. Here's that preview link again so you can check out the updated page with your info. This is only a preview for you guys and it will expire tomorrow, so don't link it out yet. I'll give you the permalink when I have everyone's submissions. Let me know if anything needs to be edited or if you just change your mind about something.

We have 5 submissions completed, and are waiting on 5 more. I am posting them in order of submission (Bert emailed me his last night).

I've settled on a format for these author blurbs. 3rd person for the bio, first person quote for the goal. Sorry for changing it around on you guys.

@Amanda, Yes they certainly can be. I wasn't sure what a meme was so I went and read your latest Daring post from Monday and it was great. It takes every bit as much work as anything else, so go for it if you want to, but keep in mind that the posts we're doing in this challenge will start being published over a month from now, so make sure you're choosing topics that can wait that long.

I know you changed Justin's blurb to third person from first person so I thought I'd point out that there's a small grammar error:

"Justin 3 kids with one due in July. " needs "has" inserted in it... Justin HAS three kids...

Just noticed it and thought you'd like to know. Otherwise the page looks great, and relatively simple.

I am almost done with my personal challenge page, but I wondered if anyone could help me out. Take a look at this preview and scroll down to where the profile pics are:

Does anyone know how I can get the 2nd row of photos to move down a bit so there's some space between the first photo in each row. I tried "br" tags and "hr" tags to no avail.

It depends on the blog theme and CSS, but my best bet is putting the rows within DIV-tag.. <div></div>

Aaron Pogue is a Technical Writer with the Federal Aviation Administration. He has a degree in Writing and has been working as a Technical Writer since 2002. He’s also a creative writer with nine novels, a dozen short stories, and countless essays and poems under his belt.

Most recently, he’s a writing professor at Oklahoma Christian University where he teaches Technical Writing to a bunch of people who aren’t writers. That experience became the foundation of his website. While Aaron brings decades of training as a writer, he is more and more convinced that everyone can learn to write better, with less effort.

5. Got this up now, but I'm planning to do a full page on it.
6. I post two articles and two writing exercises every week, so my goal would be eight posts total.

It looks awesome Megan! Good job, and thanks for getting that up early. You may want to add an opportunity to subscribe to your blog in the text somewhere, and an chance or two for new visitors to get deeper into your blog, much like you did with the "Daring myself" link.

I need to go back to mine and do that more effectively too, as well as the rest of us probably. We will definitely get some new traffic to these pages, so it's important we leverage that brief moment to get them to dig deeper and come back again.

So, in this twitterized age, I read "100 word bio" as "100 character bio", and thought to myself, "well, that's not very long."

Then I saw everyone else's bio, re-read "100 word bio", and thought to myself, "oh."

Here's an updated bio, if you want to update your pages with something a little longer for me. If you don't want to update, no worries. What I submitted before is fine.

Bio: Deacon is an artist, a mechanical engineer, and is rather handsome and charming (or so he will tell you). Deacon's Woodblock Printmaking Studio is in the heart of Downtown San Francisco, blocks from Union Square. He writes about the art he makes and sells, printmaking, and pursuing a career in Fine Art while maintaining a DayJob to pay the bills, and what all that stuff has to do with life.

Carlos, love the way you formatted everyone's bio information on your site (and especially that you included your own). I was able to just View | Page Source, search for the first line of your bio, and copy and paste the HTML over to my page.

Thanks for making it easy! Now I need to try to get a post written before lunch.
